Christmas and New Year bus times in East Kent
Sunday 23rd December
Normal Sunday timetables, plus the D-line between Ashford town centre and the Designer Outlet will run a bank holiday timetable, between 1005 and 1712.
Christmas Eve Monday 24th December
A normal Monday timetable will run except buses on most routes will finish around 2000, as shown below:
The A-line: Last bus will leave Bank Street at 2045.
The B-line: Last bus will leave Bank Street at 1925 and Park Farm at 1940.
The C-line will run a normal evening timetable
continuing until 2150.
The D-line will finish at 1712.
The E-line will run a normal evening timetable, except that 2312 from the rail station will not run.
Route 2: Last bus from Ashford to Tenterden & Rolvenden at 1835. Last bus from Rolvenden to Ashford at 1930.
Route 517 will run a normal evening service.
The Hop (route 3): Last bus from Canterbury to
Faversham (Bysing Wood) at 1900.
Last bus from from Bysing Wood to Canterbury at 1936.
On the Triangle (routes 4 & 6) the last buses will be:
From Canterbury to Whitstable & Swalecliffe (route 4A) at 2015, terminating at Herne Bay
From Canterbury to Herne Bay at 2030 (route 6) or 2102 (route 6A), both terminating at Herne Bay
From Herne Bay to Canterbury at 2037
From Herne Bay to Whitstable will be at 2006
From Whitstable to Canterbury at 2027
From Whitstable to Herne Bay at 2045
No buses will run on Canterbury City routes 22A and 25A after 2115.
Dover and Deal area
On the Diamond (routes 13, 14 & 15) the last buses will be:
From Dover to Canterbury at 1945
Canterbury to Dover at 2020
The 2200 route 14A journey from Canterbury to Deal and Walmer will not run.
Route 60: Last bus from Aycliffe at 2028. Last bus from Priory Street to River at 2036. Last bus from Tesco to Dover via River at 1954.
Routes 61/61A: Last bus from Dover Pencester Road to Tesco at 2054. Last bus from B&Q and Tesco to Dover and Aycliffe at 2056.
Route 89: The 2157 from Dover to Elvington and the 2227 from Elvington to Dover will not run.
On the Link (routes 16 & 17) the last buses will be as follows:
Folkestone via Elham to Canterbury (route 17) at 1740
Canterbury via Elham to Folkestone (route 17) at 1840
Folkestone via Hawkinge to Canterbury at 1835 (route 16) and 1905 (runs as route 73 from Folkestone to Hawkinge then as route 16B to Canterbury).
From Canterbury via Hawkinge to Folkestone (route 16) at 2005
From Folkestone to Hawkinge & Swingfield Minnis (route 16A) at 2005
Swingfield Minnis to Folkestone (route 16A) at 2033
Route 71: No buses will run after 2100.
On the Wave (routes 101/102) the last buses will be as follows:

On the Loop the last buses will be as follows:

On the Breeze (routes 8/8X) the last buses will be as follows:

The D-line (Ashford Town Centre - Designer Outlet)
will run a normal Bank Holiday timetable.
The Thanet Loop will run every 20 minutes between 1000 and 1630, with earlier and later journeys for workers and shoppers going to Westwood Cross.

Route 7/7A (Canterbury - Herne Bay) will run a Wednesday timetable on Thursday 27th December.
A normal school holiday timetable will run on all other routes.
Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th December
Normal Saturday/Sunday timetables will run.
New Year’s Eve Monday 31st December
A normal Monday timetable will run on all other routes, except most buses will finish around 2000 (see 24th December for full details).
The D-line in Ashford will finish at 1712.
New Year’s Day Tuesday 1st January
A Sunday timetable will run on the following routes only:
The Hop route 3 (Canterbury to Faversham) – only journeys that connect with route 335
Route 335 (Faversham to Maidstone)
Route 5 (Canterbury to Seasalter)
Route 10 (Folkestone to Ashford) and 10X (Ashford to Maidstone)
Route 25A (Canterbury City services)
Route 295 (Ashford to Tenterden)
A special timetable will run on 22A (Canterbury City) as shown below:
The D Line in Ashford will operate a normal Tuesday service, except the journeys at 1335 & 1350 will not run.
Wednesday 2nd January to Friday 4th January
A normal school holiday timetable will apply on all routes.
School day timetables will apply from Monday 7th January.
