Leyton - T. High Road, Leyton, London, E10 6AD
Leyton was opened in 1912 by the LGOC to replace another garage in the area. It was the first garage to receive post-war RT type buses in 1947, the last of which ran from there in 1972. In 1999 Leyton then became the first garage to have an allocation of low-floor Dennis Trident Alexander ALX400 buses, the first of which is still in use there, in semi-preserved condition. The garage houses the company's bus repaint facilility and seat trim shop.
As at October 2013 the garage operates 48 double deck Alexander Tridents, 24 ADL Enviro 400s (including "The Spirit of London") and 50 Scania Omnicitys. Routes operated are 48, 55, 56, 97 (part with WH), 179, 215, 275, N55 and N69
