Stagecoach Strathtay would like to advise passengers of a service revision from 7th Aril 2008.  This will affect the services shown below.

Service 16/16A/16B (Dundee – Perth)

The services between Dundee and Perth will be significantly improved to provide two buses per hour via The Carse for much of the day, with an hourly service during the evening. A less frequent service will operate on Sundays.

Invergowrie, Longforgan, Inchture, and St.Madoes will benefit from a bus approximately every 30 minutes, whilst Ninewells Hospital, Kingoodie, Glendoick, Grange, Errol and Perth Royal Infirmary will generally be served by one bus per hour for much of the day.

Walnut Grove will benefit from buses every 30 minutes towards Perth. The road layout in the opposite direction means that we are unable to offer such an increase in Dundee bound journeys and a similar number of buses as currently provided by service 54 will serve the village, although this will be Monday to Saturday rather than only on certain days of the week.

Service 27 (Arbroath – Forfar - Kirriemuir)

A few journeys will be diverted to serve Easterbank in Forfar.

Service 39 (Montrose – Arbroath – Dundee – Invergowrie/Kingoodie)

The following journeys are withdrawn:

1109 Dundee to Kingoodie (Sat only)

1135 Kingoodie to Dundee (Sat only)

1314 Dundee to Kingoodie (Mon to Sat)

1340 Kingoodie to Dundee (Mon to Sat)

Revised services 16/16A/16B will now provide replacement journeys at similar times.

Service 48 (Montrose town service)

On Monday to Friday, journeys after 1600 will all operate 5 minutes later than currently.

Services 54/54A/54X (Dundee – Perth)

These services are withdrawn and replaced by the improved service 16/16A/16B timetable operating between Dundee and Perth.

Service 70 (Dundee city centre – Craigie)

This service operated on behalf of Dundee City Council is withdrawn.

Service 333 The Hospital Link

This new service funded by NHS Tayside and Perth & Kinross Council will operate direct between Perth Royal Infirmary and Ninewells Hospital serving only Perth city centre and The Horn bus stops on the A90. An hourly service will be provided Monday to Friday, with a 2 hourly service at weekends.
