From 2nd January 2007 routes X5 and VT99 will have their own ticket range. The VT99 will also have revised fares.

The day ticket will be called ‘X5 explorer’ & the longer term pass will be called ‘X5 goldrider’. Singles and returns will still be available.

These passes replace the current explorer & goldrider passes which will no longer be accepted on the X5 or VT99.

X5 EXPLORER

Will allow unlimited travel on routes X5, VT99 & all other Stagecoach services for 1 day in Southern Britain as advertised locally (but not the Oxford Tube).

Adult £9, Concession (senior citizen, child & student) £7 & Family £15

X5 GOLDRIDER

Will allow unlimited travel on route X5, VT99 & all other Stagecoach services for 7 days, 28 days, 13 wks & 52 weeks in Southern Britain as advertised locally (but not the Oxford Tube)

7 days £22, 28 days £80, 13 weeks £225 & 1 year £850

Normal explorers and goldriders will still be sold for use on other services.

If you use the X5 or VT99 & have a goldrider pass that expires after the 2nd January 2007 we will exchange it free of charge for an equivalent ‘X5 goldrider’ from 11th December 2006 at the following locations:

Stagecoach in Oxfordshire will be introducing a new pass for use between Bicester & Oxford on routes X5, 27, 27A, 27B & 27C. Details of this pass will be available soon.
