From 1st September route 6 will be split in the town centre, the Shortstown section to the south of the town will be re-numbered route 9.  The Brickhill section to the north of the town will remain route 6.

Mondays to Saturdays route 6 buses will run upto every 10 minutes and route 9 buses will run upto every 12 minutes.  Route 6 buses will now depart from bay 6 and Route 9 buses will depart from bay 3 in Bedford bus station.

There will be minor changes to journey running times on route 5 but the frequency of upto every 10 minutes will remain the same.

There are no other changes on any other town routes.
