Our historic cities are becoming ever more congested and being in a lovely city like Cambridge clogged with cars is not pleasant for anyone.
That's why park & ride makes more sense than ever these days - it's easy on your nerves, easy on the environment and easy on your pocket, too!
Simply park in whichever of the 5 car parks is the most convenient and catch the frequent buses that ferry you speedily into the heart of the city and back again later on. The buses are colour-coded for easy recognition.
In case you forget the name of the car park you used, it's shown on the bus ticket - just make sure the bus you catch back shows the same name on the front.
There's space for buggies and a wheelchair on the buses and a level floor to make it easy to get on and off.
