As a result of major roadworks taking place in Alma Road (Hatherley) from 21st January 2008, Alma Road will be closed in both directions between Loweswater Road and Gwernant Road. This will affect the route of both outbound and inbound journeys on service D.
Throughout the duration of the roadworks service D will operate to the following diversion:
- OUTBOUND (Town Centre – Hatherley/Warden Hill)
From Shelburne Road the service will operate along Hatherley Road until resuming normal line of route route at the junction with Windermere Road.
- INBOUND (Hatherley/Warden Hill to Town Centre)
From Warden Hill Road, service D will operate via Caernarvon Road, Alma Road, Windermere Road and Hatherley Road before resuming normal line of route at Shelburne Road.
Customers will be allowed to board on Windermere Road for travel towards town.
This diversion will remain in place until such time as Alma Road fully re-opens which we anticipate being early June 2008.
