Boost for Chesterfield bus link
An extra journey is being introduced on a popular bus link between Chesterfield and Sheffield to cater for increased passenger demand. As part of a programme of improvements in the North East Derbyshire area, an extra bus on Stagecoach's 727 will leave Chesterfield at 10.25am from Mondays to Fridays. There will also be a new journey in the opposite direction, at 11.10am from Sheffield.

Stagecoach staff to get on board learning project
A new educational initiative is set to drive forward the skills and qualifications of staff at leading bus operator Stagecoach. To celebrate Adult Learners Week 2009 (9-15 May) Stagecoach has introduced a special mobile learning unit. It is designed to improve education and training opportunities for Stagecoach’s 3,000 employees across its 16 depots in Yorkshire and the East Midlands. The vehicle will travel around the regional depots providing employees with the opportunity to access free courses in English, Maths and IT training.
