In October brand new, easy access buses were introduced in Folkestone on your bus routes into town. The buses have wide doors and no steps, making it easy if you’re pushing a buggy or have heavy shopping.

There is a Stagecoach bus every 8 minutes from Cheriton to the town centre, Monday to Saturday during the day and every 30 minutes evenings and Sundays.

There is also a bus every 15 minutes from Creteway Down to the town centre daytimes and every 30 minutes from East Cliff to the town centre daytimes.

Stagecoach has invested £600,000 on the new buses. They are the first ‘Optare Solos’ to join the East Kent fleet and the award winning design will now be a common sight around the town on routes 71, 72, 77 & 78.
