From Tuesday 1 April 2008, we will be making some changes to fares…We are sorry to have to increase the fares at this time, but we cannot continue to soak up the increases in operational costs such as fuel and labour, and also withstand the decrease in the revenue imbursement received from Concessionary Fare Schemes.

Grimsby and Cleethorpes Area Fares

The £2.70 Dayrider, £3.30 DayriderPlus, £8.00 Megarider, £11.50 MegariderPlus and £7.00 Familyrider will stay at the current prices.
Single and return fares will increase by around 10p within the Local Grimsby and Cleethorpes area. Fares for longer distances will increase at a higher rate.

Service X1 - Cleethorpes - Grimsby - Hull

There will be an increase in fares on Service X1. Locally the fares will change between 10p and 20p. Single fares on longer distances routes (Cleethorpes - Grimsby - Airport - Hull) will increase by around 50p. Returns will increase between 50p and £1. We are sorry to have to increase the fares at this time, but we cannot continue to soak up the increases in operational costs such as fuel and labour, and also withstand the decrease in the revenue imbursement received from Concessionary Fare Schemes.

Passengers can of course take advantage of our special saver tickets such as the Megarider and DayRider. These offer excellent savings, and have not been affected by the price increase
