Stagecoach in Hull has announced its intention to revise some fares in the Hull & Cottingham area from Sunday 4^th May 2008. The revision of single fares is the first revision since May last year, and is a result of the large increase in the cost of fuel over the last twelve months as well as other operational cost increases.

Stagecoach is to launch a new online bus ticket as part of a drive to make it easier for people to switch from the car to public transport.  The new online megarider ticket, which is available to buy from 31 March, will offer a discount on the cost of buying weekly tickets from the driver.
