SERVICE REVISIONS FROM SUNDAY 31st AUGUST 2008
We will be revising some of our Services from 31st August 2008. The summary of the changes are as follows:
THE CIRCULAR (23/24) and 9s & 49s.
Services 10 and 11 will replace the current 23/24 City Circular.
There will be a Service 10 every hour Monday to Saturday from the Interchange via Spring Bank, Chanterlands Ave, Hall Road, Orchard Park, Greenwood Avenue, Kingswood, Sutton Park, North Point/Bransholme, Ings Road Estate, Saltshouse Road, Longhill, Bilton Grange, Greatfield, Holderness Road and then to Hull Interchange. Service 10 will operate in both directions.
Service 11 will operate Monday to Friday, via the same route as Service 10 between Hull Interchange and North Point Shopping Centre, it will then continue via Wawne Road, Howdale Road, Saltshouse Road, Staveley Road, Marfleet Lane and Holderness Road to the City Centre. This Service will operate as a Service 11 in both directions. These changes will provide a bus every 30 minutes between Chanterlands Avenue, Orchard Park, Bransholme and Saltshouse Road, double the current frequency. The changes come as the City Circular celebrates its 50th year in operation. The revision to the Service will mean the sections of route between Hessle Road, Askew Avenue, and Spring Bank West in West Hull and Marfleet, Hedon Road and Victoria Dock have been withdrawn, as has the Sunday Service,

Service 9 – Hull Interchange to Hawthorn Avenue This Service will be withdrawn. There will be an alternative for the Boulevard Area provided on Tender from Hull City Council, operate by EYMS. Please refer to their website for further details.
Services 2526 – Outer Circle These early morning services will be withdrawn.
Service 49 – Hull Interchange to Jalland Lodge The Service operate by Stagecoach in Hullwill be withdrawn. There will be an alternative Service 46/49 provided on Tender from Hull City Council, operate by EYMS. Please refer to their website for further details.

Service 13 Hull Interchange to Orchard Park. An increase in peak frequency will see buses operate every 7/8 minutes during peak periods of the day, Monday to Friday. Evening buses on Service 13C will terminate in Tesco and not operate to Kingswood.
Service 14 Hull Interchange to Orchard Park. As a result of the changes to Service 13C in the evening, Service 14 will have an improved evening timetable Mondays to Saturdays. Service 15 Hull Interchange to Kingswood. There will be additional buses operating to Hull City Centre in the morning peak period.
Service 15 will be increased to every 15 minutes from every 20 mins on a Sunday.
Service 30 Hull Interchange to Sutton Park Service 30 will have an improved evening timetable after 9pm.
Service 32 Hull Interchange to Sutton Park Service 32 will be improved to operate every 10 minutes in the afternoon peak. The inward timetable after 4pm will be revised to improve reliability. Service 32 will be revised to operate 15 minutes from every 12 mins on Saturdays.
Service 38 Hull Interchange to North Point Shopping Centre Service 38 will operate to North Point Shopping Centre instead of Saltshouse Road.
Service 40/42/42C Hull Interchange to Greatfield Changes to service 40/42C will offer a new circular Service to Greatfield linking the Medical Centre to a wider area. The new circular will operate every 20 minutes and now also every hour during the evening. The Saturday Service will be every 15 minutes. Extra Service 42’s to Falkland Road will ensure the overall frequency Monday to Friday on Service 42 is every 10 minutes.
Service 43 Hull Interchange to Grange Road Service 43 will be revised to operate 15 minutes from every 10 mins on Saturdays.
Service 51 Hull Interchange to Kingwood via Ings Estate Service 51 will benefit from the introduction of Frequento Low Floor & Frequent buses from September 1st. There will also be a slightly improved evening Service.
Service 52A Hull Interchange to Saltshouse Road Service 52A will be replaced by NEW Service 11 (see above), providing many new direct links.Services 52/53 are not affected.
Service 63 Hull Interchange to Cottingham Service 63 will have a revised peak timetable, affecting journeys from the City Centre in the morning and into the City Centre in the afternoon, meaning a reduced service with two journeys being cancelled. The Saturday Service will be reduced to hourly from the current 30 minutes frequency.
NEW WEEKEND 24 HOUR SERVICE!!
Services N2 to Hessle and N51 to Bransholme will be improved to operate ALL NIGHT from Fridays into Saturdays and Saturdays into Sundays. The new journeys from the City Centre will be 3am, 4am, 5am, and 6am. A first for the Premier League City of Hull.
