Stagecoach in Inverness have announced today that with effect from 3rd December, there will be changes to the megasaver and Inverness megarider tickets.
The introduction of a megasaver ticket covering travel from Elgin to Inverness and further north will provide cheaper travel for frequent travellers. The megasaver ticket, which currently offers 7 days’ unlimited travel between Elgin and Inverness, will be extended from the 3rd December to cover travel as far as Invergordon, Alness, Dingwall, Muir of Ord, Conon Bridge, Beauly, Contin and Strathpeffer.
Increasing costs due to traffic congestion in the city centre has resulted in spiralling costs threatening the local network of services. As a result, Stagecoach in Inverness are having to increase the Inverness megarider ticket from £6.50 to £7. The Inverness megarider+ ticket remains the same cost at £8.50. The Bluebird explorer also remains unchanged at £13 for an adult and £6.50 for a child offering 1 days unlimited travel on all Stagecoach Bluebird & Stagecoach in Inverness buses.
All other fares will remain unchanged, for more details contact your local travel shop on 01463 239292.
