Kids travel for just £1 in Kent and East Sussex

If you have an adult bus ticket or concessionary pass you can buy our 'kid for a quid' £1 add-on ticket!

This add-on allows you to travel with one child (aged 5 to 15) for one single journey. Our ‘kid for a quid’ ticket is available anytime, any day*.

If you're travelling with more than one child you can buy up to a maximum of four 'kid for a quid' tickets, that's just £4 for four kids! Children must be accompanied by the adult ticket holder at all times when travelling.

You can buy our ‘kid for a quid’ add-on ticket on the bus and pay with cash or contactless.

*We accept all English concessionary travel passes for free travel between 09:30 and 23:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and bank holidays. Our ‘kid for a quid’ £1 add-on ticket is only available to buy with a concessionary pass between the times stated above.

Kid for a quid tickets are not available to anyone with a Kent Travel Saver, Freedom weekly ticket, StudentRider, Canterbury Christ Church University or University of Kent UniRider, Group DayRider or DayRider U19 ticket.
