Are you VIP material?
This offer isn’t just for everybody, you know – it’s all very exclusive – and you’ll have to prove you’re a VIP when you buy your ticket or get on the bus. But we’re sure you already have what it takes – any of the following forms of identification will do just fine:
- Stagecoach VIP ID card
- Nexus Under 16 Pop card
If you haven’t got an ID card, you won’t have to go far to pick one up!
As of NOW you can download the new VIP application forms. The application forms are simple to complete and all the information you will be required to provide us with can be found on the form.

Once you have filled in your new VIP application form simply send it to us at the address stated on the form and we will get your brand new VIP card out to you.
During the interim period of filling out your new form and receiving your new VIP card you can still use the current academic year’s “2010/2011 Stagecoach VIP card” however please note that after SUNDAY 2nd OCTOBER, “2010/2011 Stagecoach VIP cards” will no longer be valid on Stagecoach buses.
From Monday 3rd October, all customers buying or using a VIP ticket must be in possession of the new “2011/2012 VIP ID Card”, or hold a valid Nexus U16 Pop card in order to travel with Stagecoach North East.

Passport photos and a small fee may be required, but remember - no ID, no VIP treatment. And it just wouldn’t do to travel like everybody else, would it?
Great! So how do I go about getting a VIP pass?
Nice and simple! 1-day and 7-day VIP passes can be bought from your Stagecoach driver when you get on the bus.

1-day VIP passes cost £2.20, 7-day VIP passes cost £7.50, and the 28-day VIP passes cost £30.00.
...Just don’t forget to be flash - and show that you’ve got what it takes - by showing your ID card when you purchase your VIP pass, and everytime you use it!

- Alternatively, there’s Transport Direct. All you need to do on this great site is type in where you’re leaving from and where you want to get to and it’ll work out the rest! Even giving you a map of your route! There are loads of other useful tools and tips on here as well to make travelling about much easier.

Just remember, the U19 VIP ticket is only valid on Stagecoach buses, so make sure you can use our services to get to where you want to - You can always buy a day version to test it out first!
