On the 4th May 2008, routes 1 & 16 got better! 

Buses now run every evening throughout the week. Route 1 & 16 buses each run every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday evenings and run every 60 minutes on a Sunday evening too.

The last route 1 bus leaves the bus station at 2220 on a Sunday and the last 16 bus leaves at 2250, giving you more time to visit friends or even treat yourself to a meal out, knowing that route 1 or 16 will get you home afterwards.

And don’t forget that on Mondays to Saturdays daytimes both route 1 & 16 buses run up to every 10 minutes.

If you use route 1 or 16 regularly and don’t have a pass, then ask your driver about the megarider. This will give you unlimited travel for 7 days, saving you on your fares.
