Stagecoach North West carries over 34 million passengers a year and operates over 26 million miles. With up to 1,300 employees and a fleet size of 550, operating throughout Lancashire and Cumbria. Our Head Office is based in Carlisle.

Stagecoach works closely with local authorities in the North West, including Lancashire County Council, Cumbria County Council and the Greater Manchester Passenger Executive, to operate new services and work together in marketing initiatives.

Our fleet is amongst the most modern in the country and includes an increasing number of low floor easy access buses, which feature step-free entrances, room for buggies and wheelchair access. These vehicles are dedicated to specific routes and provide high quality, high frequency services.

Stagecoach is committed to providing value for money bus travel, offering a range of tickets to suit all our customers including Megariders and Goldriders. Tickets are also available for students, children, senior citizens and other concessionary pass holders.

Training and development is the foundation for delivering the high quality services that Stagecoach North West offers. Our road staff either hold or are working towards an NVQ qualification. Stagecoach North West has an open relationship with its customers, always ensuring that avenues are open for passenger comment, feedback on services is encouraged and through this approach, customers can provide comments or suggestions direct to a senior manager within the company. We operate a level of customer service that ensures that all customers receive a reply within seven working days, often though this timescale is much less.
