New buses

Brand new easy-access buses will be entering service on the:

• 2 Whitehaven-Woodhouse
• 17 Whitehaven - Frizington
• 30/31/31A Maryport - Workington - Whitehaven - Thornhill (Monday to Saturday)

More buses

Now four buses per hour Mon-Sat daytime's between Maryport, Workington and Whitehaven.

Improved evening service

With better coordinated times between 30 and 301.

New links

• Brand new through-buses from Frizington and Cleator Moor beyond Whitehaven to Workington and Maryport.
• New service 12 provides a regular hourly bus service into the West Lakes Science Park on Monday to Friday daytime's.
• Easy-access buses come to Moorclose estate. New service 31A operates via Moorclose estate every hour Mon-Sat daytimes, providing direct links to Maryport, Workington, Whitehaven and Cleator Moor.

• Mon-Sat day, x30mins, combines with 31/31A to provide bus x15mins Whitehaven-Cleator Moor-Frizington30, 31, 31A Maryport-Workington-West Lakes College-Distington-Whitehaven then either West Cumberland Hospital-Bigrigg-Egremont-Thornhill (30) or Cleator Moor-Frizington (31, 31A)
• 30 via Annie Pit, 31 via Derwent Howe, 31A via MoorcloseMon-Sat day, x15mins, Maryport-Whitehaven, with buses continuing every 30 mins to either Thornhill or Frizington

Whitehaven Town Services

Due to congestion on Duke Street, Whitehaven local services 2, 3 & 4 will now be using a new departure point on Strand Street instead.
