Barrow and Ulverston area changes.

Many rural services in these areas are operated by Stagecoach and subsidised by Cumbria County Council. As part of the Cumbria County Council 'Transforming Passenger Transport' tendered service review, a number of changes will take place to ensure that the limited amount of subsidy available is being used as effectively as possible.

As a result of this, the following changes will take place from 30th June: 

• 10 - Revised timetable with reduced frequency.
• 11 - Revised timetable with reduced frequency.
• 60 - This service will now operate four return journeys Monday to Saturday.
• 511 - This service will have a revised timetable and will operate three off-peak return journeys between Ulverston and Broughton only. 
• X7 - The Monday to Saturday evening service will be  reduced to operate on Fridays and Saturdays only, between Barrow and Haverigg.

In Barrow town, we're also extending service 4 back to service Hollywood Park, now that the major roadworks have finished on Walney Road.
