109 Preston - Walton Park - Leyland - Euxton - Chorley

From Sunday 20th July 2008 J Fishwick & Sons and Stagecoach in Lancashire will revise the route between Lostock Hall and Preston. The revised service will operate via Brownedge Road, Todd Lane North, Walton Park and London Way instead of duplicating Service 111 through Lower Penwortham.

This service runs every half hour Monday to Saturday daytime and is subsidised by Lancashire County Council every hour Monday to Saturday evenings & Sundays. This will see a dramatic improvement in bus service provision to these areas. The vehicles used on this service by both Stagecoach and Fishwicks are modern low floor easy access buses.

At the same time, day return tickets will be interchangeable (no other saver tickets however will be accepted).
