Route 10 will change from 30th March 2008 following the creation of a turning circle at Cowley Centre. Buses will no longer serve Littlehay Road or Rymers Lane because they will be able to use the main road and turn around at Cowley Centre.

It is hoped that this will bring improvements to reliability and journey quality. There will be no change to the timetable.

This latest change is part of an on-going program of improvements being made in partnership with Oxfordshire County Council.

In January 2007 the Osler Road bus link was opened, and the frequency on route 10 was increased from every 15 minutes to every 12. The buses were refurbished and real time information was introduced.

Since then filter lights have been installed at Hollow Way / Horspath Road and Headington / Windmill Road which detect the buses approach, and more recently the junction at Hollow Way / Oxford Road has been widened to make it easier for our vehicles to turn without blocking other traffic.

In January 2008 the route was extended to serve the new West Wing at the JR.
