The award winning Peterborough citi network just got better. Starting on Sunday 28th October 2007 there will be more buses running on Sundays – including citi 2 and citi 6 for the first time – as well as more evening buses on citi 2 and 6.
Support for our Whittlesey route has been so tremendous that we’re also going to run every hour to and from Peterborough. However, due to lack of support we’re withdrawing the evening service from Whittlesey.
Our improved citi 2 means that Bretton now has up to 4 buses an hour on Sundays and in the evening, backing up our fantastic 5 minute service during the week. Netherton now has buses all evening to and from the city as well as Bretton Centre.
Residents of Hampton will enjoy our new evening & Sunday buses too – with an extended service on Citi 6, and having listened to our customers requests early morning buses during the week will call at Peterborough rail station before the city centre, allowing valuable connections with trains towards London.
The last journey at 2250 on citi 6 has been now extended to Sawtry, to replace the 2245 route 16 journey. The new Sunday buses on citi 6 mean that route 415 now runs between Hampton & Orton Centre up to every 30 minutes - contact Peterborough City Council for full details on 01733 74 74 74.
Don't forget that our popular Dayrider ticket offers unlimited travel all over Peterborough for just £3 - our Megarider ticket offers even better value at just £10 for 7 days' travel.
New timetables can be found in the drop down menu on the left - and new leaflets will be available from the Travelchoice Centre shortly.
