Diversions/Service changes
Race week 12th – 16th March
Services B, D, 94U, 99 & 151
Due to the Cheltenham Gold Cup Race meeting taking place Service D, 94U and 99 will not be able to serve the Park and Ride and Service D will not serve the Railway Station forecourt.
The Park and Ride will not be served from Monday the 12th and will re-open on Saturday the 17th March 2012.
Service D nearest stop is at the Racecourse Roundabout.
Service94U nearest stop is at Pittville Campus, Albert Road.
Service99 will run from Cheltenham Town Football Club, Whaddon Road.
Railway Station Forecourt wiil not be served from Tuesday the 13th to Friday the 16th March 2012 inclusive.
ServiceD nearest stop is on Gloucester Road by the shops.
Service D will also be running a special timetable for the four days between the hours of 11:00 and 18:00, whereby the frequency will be every 15 minutes.
I would also like to advise all our customers the following diversion to be in operation, 13th to the 16th of March inclusive, for Services B and 151.
The diversions will be in place between the hours of 10.30 and 13.00, and 16.45 until 19.00 on each day for Service B and ALL DAY for Service 151
Service B will divert inbound after leaving Six Ways turn right into Charlton Court Road from the London Road. Then proceed into Oak Avenue, Churchill Drive, King Alfred Way, Saxon Way, Athelney Way, straight across into Sydenham Road leading into Carlton Street. At the junction turn left onto the Hewlett Road then take the first turning right into Albion Street then left into Berkeley Street and rejoin the High Street resuming the normal route back into the Town Centre.
The outbound Journey is to be operated as the reverse of the above, using Ewens Road and Beaufort Road, to travel through Ewens Farm.
Service 151 Cheltenham-bound services will divert via Bafford Approach, Sandy lane, Greenhills Road, Charlton Lane and Old Bath Road to continue on route at Sandford Road. Crencester-bound services will follow the same route in reverse.
