On 1st April 2008, the new National FREE Concessionary Bus Fares Scheme for those aged over 60 and for the disabled came into force.

Passes are valid for travel in England between 09.30 and 23.00hrs - Monday to Friday and all day weekends and public holidays. (The exclusion in the Stagecoach South area is the N23 nightrunner bus in Portsmouth.)

Some District and Unitary Councils may allow local residents to travel additionally outside these times. Please contact your local authority for further information and for details on how to apply for your pass.
