Stagecoach in South Wales’ Head Office is in Cwmbran, with local depots in Aberdare, Blackwood, Brecon, Brynmawr, Caerphilly, Chepstow, Merthyr and Porth.
Our fleet of over 400 buses is one of the most modern in the country, and includes many low-floor, easy access buses with step-free entrances, dedicated buggy areas and wheelchair access.
Our team of over 800 drivers, engineers, administrators and managers is dedicated to keeping South Wales on the move, encouraging the public to leave their cars at home and switch to public transport. In November 2004 we entered into a three-year partnership with the Welsh Assembly Government and Caerphilly Borough County Council to increase patronage on two key routes within the area; and we have since launched commercial Kickstart initiatives in Merthyr and Aberdare.
Stagecoach is committed to providing value for money bus travel offering a range of tickets to suit all our customers including our Megarider and Dayrider tickets. Discounted tickets are also available for children, senior citizens and other concessionary pass holders.
Training and development is the foundation for delivering the high quality services that Stagecoach offers in South Wales. Many of our drivers either hold or are working towards an NVQ qualification.
Whatever you want to do – go shopping, commute, go to the match, or simply catch up with friends – there’s a Stagecoach bus going your way. Over 60,000 people every day find our frequent, comprehensive bus network the best way to get around.
