Looking for a shopping experience with a difference? Then climb aboard Stagecoach’s new X20 bus service to Abergavenny’s world-famous Tuesday market.

Abergavenny has hosted a Tuesday market for hundreds of years, and visitors today can browse over 200 traditional indoor and outdoor stalls. From October 26th, Stagecoach will entice Abergavenny market shoppers with three buses every Tuesday from Newport. Buses will depart Newport bus station at 0920, 1020 and 1220, and take approximately one hour to travel to Abergavenny via Llanyrafon, Cwmbran, New Inn and Pontypool. Return journeys will depart Abergavenny bus station at 1230, 1330 and 1600.

An adult return fare will cost £4.80. Senior citizens living in Wales can travel free of charge upon production of a Welsh concessionary bus pass available from their local authority.
