megabus.com, the UK’s leading budget inter-city coach service, has expanded its network of routes to Sunderland.
The improved megabus.com timetable offers exciting express services to Leeds, Sheffield and London, with one coach each day operating in both directions.
The new route will commence on Monday 21 May 2007, and customers can now book their journeys from just £1*.

"With no direct rail services to London from Sunderland, we believe we can create a new market for budget inter-city coach travel. And with the new route, customers can also enjoy a day’s shopping in Leeds or Sheffield."
