Adult single fares
80p City Centre single - Valid for a single journey between the following tramstops, Granville Road, The University of Sheffield and Hyde Park. £1.00, £1.40 and £1.70 singles. Single adult tickets increasing in price according to the distance travelled.
Extra information
- Single tickets are valid for 1 hour from time of purchase.
- Passengers changing trams/routes during their journey do not need to purchase another ticket.
- There are no ordinary return tickets available on Supertram. If more than one journey is being planned the dayrider ticket at £2.70 may be the most cost effective.
Concessionary Journeys
A concessionary single fare of 40p is available to holders of a South Yorkshire concessionary Pass. Concessionary passes are proof of residency and unfortunately passes from other areas cannot be accepted on Supertram.
Children
- Under 5's - free
- 5-11 - 40p on any single journey
- 11-16 - 40p but MUST be in possession of a valid South Yorkshire Megatravel pass
Students
Unirider tickets are available online to students of both universities and provide discounted travel per term on both Supertram and Stagecoach East Midland buses. No on tram discount is available for students.
Monthly Megarider - £35
This ticket is not sold on the tram. The monthly Megarider can be purchased at any of the S.Y.P.T.E. Travel Centres and Park & Ride sites (for more information on Park & ride sites visit http://www.sypte.co.uk/) but is not available from the conductor. A passport size photograph is required for the photocard issued with the first Monthly Megarider purchased, this can then be re-used with subsequent purchases. This ticket is valid for one calendar month and is non transferable. A 90p (Travel-Adda) add on ticket may be purchased on First buses in Sheffield which allows one single journey.
There are no return fares for travel on Supertram. It may be that the Dayrider is the cheapest option if more than one journey is planned.

Megarider - £9.00
This ticket gives unlimited weekly travel on Stagecoach Supertram. A (Travel-Adda) add on ticket may be purchased on First buses in Sheffield with a flat rate of £0.80p for single journeys.
Dayrider - £2.70
Unlimited travel on Stagecoach Supertram until the end of service on the day of issue.
South Yorkshire Dayrider/Megarider - £3.00/£10.00
These tickets allow unlimited travel in South Yorkshire on Stagecoach buses and Trams .
60 Minute Switcha - £1.90
This ticket allows travel on Stagecoach Supertram and First Bus services in Sheffield. The last leg of the journey must commence within 60 minutes from time of purchase.
Event Return - £1.80
On event days at the Don Valley Stadium/Sheffield Arena a £1.80 return ticket may be purchased for travel between Meadowhall and the Arena/Stadium tramstop. Also if there is an event at the Sheffield Wednesday Football ground a £1.80 event return is available for travel between the University of Sheffield tramstop and Leppings Lane tramstop.
