Stagecoach is dedicated to keeping Swindon on the move, connecting key parts of the town, as well as offering services further afield to Oxford, Chippenham and Marlborough.
We operate a fleet of 54 buses, including 22 low-floor, easy access buses with step-free entrances, dedicated buggy areas and wheelchair access; and we employ over 130 drivers, engineers, operations and managerial staff.
Recently our extensive bus network has enjoyed passenger growth of 6.5%, bucking a national decline of approximately 3% throughout England (excluding London). This growth has been achieved through continued investment, a range of value-for-money tickets to suit all pockets, and key improvements such as the launch of the popin - a ‘turn-up-and-go’ 10-minute timetable to Kingsdown, Highworth and Freshbrook, daytimes Monday to Saturday.
Stagecoach is committed to providing value for money bus travel offering a range of tickets to suit all our customers including our Megarider and Dayrider tickets. Discounted tickets are also available for children, senior citizens and other concessionary pass holders.
Stagecoach is working hard to simplify routes, improve frequency, and make the buses run more reliably. This focus means we will have a solid platform to maintain and further improve the services we provide to our customers.
Whatever you want to do – go shopping, commute, go to the match, or simply catch up with friends – there’s a Stagecoach bus going your way. Every day, over 12,000 people find our frequent, comprehensive bus network the best way to get around the city.
