From Sunday 27 July 2008, a number of Stagecoach on Teesside bus services within Stockton will be changing. These revisions are designed to reflect changes to customers’ travelling patterns, and follow customer suggestions to provide alternative links within the area.
Details of the revised services are shown below (to view the new timetable, please click on relevant blue service number):
Service 52: Most journeys will be revised to operate around 5 minutes later. During Monday to Saturday daytimes, between approximately 0900 and 1800, all buses will continue from Stockton High Street as Service 58 to University Hospital of North Tees. As a result, Service 52 buses will no longer link with Service 61 across Stockton.
Service 58: Morning journeys before 0900 will be revised to operate every 12 minutes. All Monday to Saturday journeys between approx 0900 and 1800 will continue from Stockton High Street as Service 52 to Billingham.
Service 59: Following customer requests, Monday to Saturday daytime buses will be extended from University Hospital of North Tees to serve Summerville Tesco, every 12 minutes. At Stockton High Street, most Service 59 buses will continue as Service 61 to Oxbridge and Elton Park, reinstating a number of requested local links within west Stockton.
Service 61: Monday to Saturday daytime buses will be revised to operate every 12 minutes. At Stockton High Street, most Service 61 buses will be revised to continue as Service 59 to University Hospital of North Tees, reinstating a number of local links within west Stockton. As a consequence of this change, Service 61 will no longer link with Service 52.
