what is a unirider?
Unirider is the unibus pass available exclusively to students and staff at the University of Warwick & Coventry University.
One term and two term passes are available, each giving you unlimited travel on Stagecoach buses in Leamington, Warwick, Coventry & Bedworth areas click here for a map of the full area
If you buy a two term unirider, you can also travel during the intervening vacations.
You can even buy passes that will include the summer vacation - if you need it.
why buy a unirider?
If you're living in Leamington & studying at Warwick uni, you'd be a fool not to! Unibus runs up to every 10 minutes between Sydenham, Leamington & the university - and with the unirider, you can use it whenever you want*.
*£1 extra per ride after midnight

from 7th January until 11th January we'll be selling uniriders in the Rootes building (Warwick Uni Central Campus) between 10am and 3pm

how much will it cost?
To make the unirider pass work for you we have many different options, depending on the length of time you want it to last (the longer the cheaper), if you want to insure it and if you want to travel during the summer vacation. All the options are below.
insure your pass
You have the option to insure your pass (at only £5 a term) against loss, damage, theft or stupidity! If you have 'pass cover' we will replace your pass free of charge*.
If you choose not to take the cover and need to get your pass replaced for whatever reason then you will have to pay a pro rata cost (based on the time you have left on the pass) to replace it.
*we will replace your pass once if you have a 1 term pass, and twice if you have a 2 term pass.
If you want our advice 'TAKE THE PASS COVER', you don't want to lose your 2 term pass in week 1 - ouch!

the week pass
A week pass called a 'megarider plus' is also available from our driver. This will get you a week's worth of travel for £14.50 (not to Coventry or beyond).
feedback
We are always looking to improve your bus route to the university. If you have any feedback, ideas, praise, moans or groans; please give us a shout - contact us.
fraud
We take fraud very seriously and are liable to remove your pass, should it not match your student university card. We will not accept anybody onto the unibus without a valid card or payment. We may prosecute if you are found to be using a pass fraudulently.
Please don't take this as a light warning, the police turned up on 2 occasions last year and arrested some dodgy students with fake passes. A criminal record at Uni was their reward!
