• The first bus in the morning from Ardrossan leaves at 0515.
• The first bus in the morning from Kilmarnock leaves at 0510.
• Last bus from Ardrossan leaves at 2255
• Last bus from Kilmarnock leaves at 2315

We offer a 7 minute frequency daytime Monday to Saturday and every 10 minutes Sunday daytime. Even on Sundays we provide services from as early as 0630, and leaving Kilmarnock at 2240.

Fast and Direct Service

• Kilmarnock to Ardrossan in just over an hour
• Kilmarnock to Irvine Cross in 26 minutes
• Ardrossan to Kilwinning in 25 minutes
• Many journeys serve Segton Avenue and Broomlands
• Stops right outside the main door of Crosshouse Hospital

We have a wide range of tickets on offer, so there’s sure to be one that suits you!

• Our Service 11 megarider offers 7 days unlimited travel on the Ardrossan to Kilmarnock corridor and is valid on other Stagecoach bus services operating on common sections of the route. Priced at £7, the megarider offers excellent savings for regular passengers. Available from the driver on any A1 Service bus.
• flexirider is valid for 28 days and offers 10 journeys for the price of 8 single tickets. Simply ask the driver for a flexirider.
• coolrider offers savings for 16 and 17 year olds. A 10 journey ticket at half the price of 10 adult singles, pick up your ID card application form from your local travel shop to start saving.
• Students can buy a unirider ticket to save money on full adult fares. Valid for 10 weeks, travel within your chozen zones from as little as £1 per day. Buy online or pick a leaflet at your local Travel Shop.
• It you are a less frequent traveller, our single and return tickets offer great value for money too! Child fares are available to those aged 5 - 16. Remember Senior Citizens travel free....

Route: Ardrossan, Chapelhill Mount then Dalry Road, Stanley Road, Beggs Terr, Park View, Castle Road, Broadway, Whitlees Cres, McKellar Avenue, Parkhouse Road, Glasgow Street, Princes Street, Arran Place, South Crescent Road, Saltcoats, Ardrossan Road, Manse Street, Vernon Street, Canal Street, Stevenston, Saltcoats Road, Boglemart Street, Main Street, Townhead Street, A738, A78, Kilwinning, A738, Stevenston Road, Pennyburn Road, Townhead, Byres Road, Howgate, Lauchlan Way, Bridgend, Irvine Road, Irvine, Kilwinning Road, Burns Street, Eglinton Street, High Street, Irvine Cross, Townhead, Annick Road, Dreghorn, Corsehill Mount Road, Campbell Place, Townfoot, Main Street, B7081, Crosshouse Hospital, B7081, Kilmarnock, Irvine Road, Portland Road, John Finnie Street, Westreet George Street, Eastreet George Street, Green Street, to Kilmarnock Bus Street.

Return: Kilmarnock Bus Street then Green Street, Sturrock Street, Fowlds Street, Street. Marnock Street, Portland Road, then reverse of outward route to Parkhouse Road, then McDowall Ave, Whitlees Cres, Broadway, Strathclyde Ave, Beggs Terr, Stanley Road, Dalry Road to Chapelhill Mount.

2a) Journeys not operated via Pennyburn Road will operate via Stevenston Road in both directions. 2b) Journeys operating via Broomlands deviate from the main route at Irvine, Townhead to Mill Road, Broomlands Busway, Station Brae to Dreghorn, Main Street then as main route. Return: Same route in reverse.
