Using the Stagecoach bus is easy!

First of all, identify the bus you need. Our web site contains timetables for all our services, or you can call Traveline on 0870 200 22 33 for help with planning your journey.

As the bus approaches a stop, you will be able to see the route number and destination on the front.  If this is your bus, please signal for the driver to stop, wait until the bus has come to a complete halt and the doors are fully opened, then step on board.

Tell the driver where you are going and what type of ticket you require - if you are unsure, your driver will be able to advise you.  If you already have one of our bargain unlimited or multi-journey tickets such as the megarider, please show this to your driver.  If you are using a concession or other type of pass, please have this ready when you board.

We only accept cash, but will try to give change on most services - please check with the driver when you board.

Some of our buses have special zones for buggies and shopping trolleys. Please feel free to use the fold-down seats so that you can sit next to your buggy.  We also have some wheelchair accessible buses.  Please check with us for full details of these routes.  Once on board, sit back and enjoy the journey.

When you want to get off, press the bell once. For your safety we recommend you remain seated until the bus has arrived at the stop. 

It's likely that your bus home will leave from a different bus stop. Please ask the driver if you are unsure where the bus leaves for your journey home.
