It is business as usual for bus operator Stagecoach Yorkshire after a series of planned one-day strikes by drivers was called off.
Drivers operating services out of Stagecoach’s Barnsley depots on Upper Sheffield Road and in Shafton, and also Rawmarsh, Doncaster and Huddersfield were planning industrial action over a pay dispute.
However, the one day strikes planned on Mondays 26 November, 3 December and 10 December have now been cancelled.
Paul Lynch, managing director of Stagecoach Yorkshire, said: "A revised pay arrangement has been agreed with the trade unions and we have been informed there will be no more industrial action on this issue.
"As ever, our passengers remain our priority and we are pleased there is now no threat of disruption to services. The agreement will bring stability for customers, staff and the company."
