Changes based on passenger feedback and designed to boost efficiency and performance across the network are to be introduced by Stagecoach Yorkshire next month.
As part of the leading bus operator’s programme of continuous improvement, which assesses all services at regular intervals, some journey time frequencies will be increased, punctuality enhanced and certain routes simplified to give schedules a new impetus.
Stagecoach Yorkshire’s managing director Paul Lynch said: The process whereby we review services is ongoing and an important part of it is listening to what our customers tell us and also how services are used.
It means we are able to make adjustments to timings and routes in line with passenger demand. A good example of meeting the requirements of our customers was on the 265 Barnsley to Sheffield service where extra buses at peak times have proved to be a big success.
