The four-year programme involves a combination of residential training undertaking the Technical Certificate in Transport Engineering Maintenance and on the job training at your local depot. On successful completion of your training you will be awarded an Apprenticeship in Transporting Engineering Maintenance and have the opportunity to become a licensed member of IRTEC (The Institute of Road Transport Engineers).

Have or expect to get 3 GCSEs at grade C or above or Standard grade 1, 2, 3 in English, Maths and a Science and a genuine interest in engineering.
