What is a unirider?
unirider is a bus ticket which is only available to University of Kent students. It is valid on Unibus and all other Stagecoach buses in Kent and East Sussex all day and night, so if you buy an academic year ticket, that's getting around sorted.
No need to budget for travel each week - just hop on and off the bus as often as you like. Buses run between the campus and Canterbury city centre 24 hours a day during term time! (except Sundays)
To use your unirider ticket you must show it to the driver along with your student ID card. Only YOU can use your ticket - please don't lend it to anyone else otherwise you could both face prosecution and removal of the ticket.
How much is it?

|Academic year *special offer*||19 Sept 2015||19 June 2016||£170||special offer price until 4 October 2015|
|Academic year (standard price)||19 Sept 2015||19 June 2016||£240|

What am I saving?
unirider tickets are only available to University of Kent students. Standard tickets for everyone else are called megariders. A Canterbury megarider for an equivalent duration* to the academic year unirider (39 weeks) costs £396. That's a saving of £226 with the discounted unirider ticket or £156 on the full price unirider ticket.
(*3x 13 week Canterbury megariders)
Can't I just travel in Canterbury?
The savings mentioned above are in comparison to a standard Canterbury ticket. We offer you travel around Kent and East Sussex as an added bonus at no extra cost. A 39 week ticket** that allows travel throughout Kent and East Sussex would actually cost £708.
(**3x 13 week megarider Golds)
