National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons. 

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity. 

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Requesting personal information

Subject Access Request

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), you have the right to make a request for a copy of the personal data that Stagecoach holds about you. This is called a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) – and you can do this as an individual or as an authorised third party on behalf of an individual.

Please note: Stagecoach will only release information if it's your personal data and we're able to verify your identity – or you have written authorisation from the relevant individual.


When we'll respond

We have up to one calendar month from the date we receive your DSAR to provide a response to you. In some cases, this period may be extended. If that is the case, we'll let you know. In the meantime, we'll let you know we've received your request.

Remember, for us to act on your request, we need to be able to verify your identity. Or, if you're making a request on behalf of another individual, you need to have written authority to do so.

In some rare cases, we may need to charge you a reasonable fee or may not be able to act on your request. Where that is the case, we'll let you know.

We'll work as quickly as possible – but if you can give us start and end dates for the information you're looking for, it'll help us respond to you sooner.

We'll send you the information securely by email unless you indicate otherwise.


Other ways to get information

You may not need to submit a SAR and wait for information. By logging in to your Stagecoach Bus Account on our website or through our mobile app you can quickly and easily get information about online ticket or smart card purchases you have made. Alternative, you may email [email protected] where the same requirements remain, such as the need to verify your identity etc.

What you need to provide to make a Subject Access Request (SAR)

Please attach the following:

  • Sufficient information to enable us to:
    • Identify your account
    • Locate the information you're seeking
  • Documents to confirm your identity and that you're entitled to access the information you're requesting
  • Documents authorising any third parties to submit the SAR – including their proof of identity

Until we have all this information, we won't be able to deal with your request, nor are we obliged to under the legislation.

Completing our SAR form should help you make a successful request and avoid delays in it being processed.
