As a qualified bus driver for Stagecoach in Oxfordshire you will be an ambassador for the company providing a safe, friendly and reliable service to both the residents and visitors of the city.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire are a major employer in Oxfordshire with a team of 500 people across our three depots in Oxford, Witney and Banbury including drivers, maintenance and administrative staff, managers and supervisors, all based locally.

To apply for a role at Stagecoach in Oxfordshire, you’ll need to live in the Oxfordshire area and have been a resident in the UK for 6 months or more.
You will need to hold a full EU/UK driving licence which should have no more than 3 endorsement points on it and have had no driving bans within the last 5 years. All applicants must have been driving a vehicle regularly during the last 12 months and should have held their licence for at least 2 years.

Our recruitment process includes a written theory test, a driving assessment and an interview, so we can get to know you better.
To ensure you have a gradual introduction to driving on our network, we start all our new drivers on a late shift. This is to avoid busier periods and allow you to build up the experience and confidence dealing with customers and familiarising yourself with our routes. There will be an opportunity to move to other shift patterns when they become available.
