Q. I live in England but work in Scotland/Wales, can I travel across the border by bus?
A. The Scottish and Welsh Governments have advised that people should avoid any unnecessary travel across borders. If you need to travel, most of our services are running normally but if you know your service crosses a border, check the service updates in your area to make sure there hasn’t been a change.
A. We’ve worked hard over the past few months to create a safe environment on our buses, including enhanced cleaning and limiting capacity. We’d ask that you do your part and wear a face covering, if you can, keep apart and use hand sanitiser regularly.
Q. Are your timetables changing again due to the new lockdown?
A. We know many of you will be looking for information for how lockdown will affect our service. We’ll continue to keep you updated as we make decisions.
For now, our buses are running to their current timetable but you can keep up to date with any changes by checking our website, following your local team on Twitter and keeping an eye out on our main coronavirus page.
A. Our normal refund policy applies. If you'd like to talk with us about a refund about any of our tickets, please use our refund request form.
Q. Are you still accepting cash or can I only use contactless payments?
A. We’re encouraging everyone who can to pay by contactless but you can still pay with cash. If you need to pay by cash it would helpful for everyone if you had the exact change for your fare. We’ve got lots of options to let you buy your ticket in advance either on our website or through the Stagecoach Bus App.
