Stagecoach Lincoln Knight 2017

08 Feb 2017

Knight's Trail 2017

Our brilliant artist Anna Carter, 15 year old year ten student at Caistor Grammar School, is currently hard at work painting her design onto the Stagecoach Knight for the Lincoln Knight’s Trail 2017!  Anna and her family have nick named the Knight ‘Norman’ as he has replaced the dining table in their home!

Anna has until 3 March to complete ‘Norman’ ready for the display to the media on 27 March in Waterside Shopping Centre, along with the other 34 Knights!

As a collective, the 35 sculptures will form a route through Lincoln commemorating and celebrating the 800th anniversary of the Battle of Lincoln and the Charter of the Forest.  Each Knight has been sponsored by local businesses and organisations across Lincolnshire.

Over the next few weeks we will be posting updates on our Stagecoach East Midlands twitter page @StagecoachEMid to show Anna’s progress, search #LincolnKnights.
