Coronavirus Update Close

In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.

Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.

The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Stagecoach say happy birthday!

17 Jun 2015

Stagecoach Strathtay turns 30 today, having been formed in 1985 as a subsidiary of Scottish Transport group.

The company became part of Yorkshire Traction Ltd in 1991 before being bought over by Stagecoach in 2005 and now operates as part of Stagecoach East Scotland.

The bus fleet still serves the same key areas of Dundee, Angus and Perthshire and route Tayway 73 is one of the longest standing routes, operating between Dundee and Arbroath.

In partnership with local enthusiasts and vehicle owners, a heritage running day will take place later in the summer to celebrate the 30th birthday, with a number of preserved heritage vehicles operating in the area.
