Coronavirus Update Close

National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons.

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity.

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Stay up to date on our Coronavirus page.

He was appointed Operations Director for Stagecoach South and became Managing Director, Stagecoach Bluebird, in May 2010. Andrew took up the role of Managing Director, Stagecoach East Scotland, in July 2013.

Stagecoach East Scotland operates more than 500 buses and coaches across Fife, Dundee, Perthshire and Angus and employs more than 1,300 people across nine depots.

Stagecoach East Scotland's Express City Connect network won the ‘Top Express Operation’ award for the second consecutive year at the UK Coach Awards in 2016. In 2015, the company's Coastrider X7 route was also voted ‘Best Bus Service’ at the Scottish Transport Awards and won the ‘Silver Award for Putting Passengers First’ at the UK Bus Awards.

Robert Montgomery, Managing Director of Stagecoach UK Bus, said: “Andrew has made a strong contribution over the past decade with Stagecoach, helping drive forward our strategy of investment in greener, smarter bus travel.

"The awards Stagecoach East Scotland has won over the past few years for its bus and express coach services are testament to the high standards Andrew has fostered across his team and we wish him well in the next stage of his career.”

Andrew Jarvis said: “I have thoroughly enjoying working with a great team of people in my time at Stagecoach and I am proud of what we have achieved over the years. I would like to wish my colleagues across the business all the best for the future as I look forward to new challenges.”
