Stagecoach East Scotland announced their 2018/19 festive timetable this month, outlining any service revisions taking place over Christmas and New Year.
The bus company, who make revisions to their timetable around the festive period every year, have stated that no services will run on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, with special timetables running on Boxing Day and Wednesday 2 January 2019.
On Christmas Eve, the normal timetables will run on all Stagecoach services until the evening, with many later journeys ending early or withdrawn. Similarly, on the night of Hogmanay, a Saturday timetable will run on all Stagecoach East Scotland services with many later journeys also ending early or being withdrawn on this date. Services N55 and N99 which will not run.
The normal Stagecoach timetables (based on a school holiday day) will resume on all East Scotland routes on Thursday 3 January.
With all services across Fife, Dundee & Angus and Perthshire affected in some way over the period, the bus company are urging passengers to check their journey before they travel. A list of affected journeys and special festive timetables is now available to view and download on the Stagecoach website, with festive guides also available in local travel shops and on buses now.
The website journey planner has also been updated to show the special festive timetables and affected journeys, providing live bus times and up to date information.
