Stagecoach announces DayReturn tickets from Fife to Edinburgh now on the Stagecoach Bus App

• DayReturn tickets from Fife to Edinburgh now available to buy on the Stagecoach Bus App 

• Travel from Ferrytoll P&R to Edinburgh every 5 minutes during peak times 

• Increased late-night journeys Edinburgh and Dunfermline  

Stagecoach has announced that customers can now purchase the popular DayReturn tickets valid between Fife and Edinburgh on the Stagecoach Bus App. The £6.50 return fare, which is valid all day, remains the same for those travelling from Cowdenbeath, Dalgety Bay, Dunfermline, Inverkeithing, Rosyth, Kelty, Ferrytoll P&R, Halbeath P&R, or South Queensferry to Edinburgh. If you’re travelling from anywhere else in Fife, the DayReturn ticket is only £7.60.

The great value DayReturn option on the Stagecoach Bus App comes at an exciting time for Stagecoach, with improvements to their Express network recently launched  on Monday 29^th July. Journeys to Edinburgh from Ferrytoll P&R are now every 5 minutes during peak times and up to every 15 minutes in the evening. There are services leaving Dunfermline up to every 15 minutes during the day and 30 minutes in the evening, with up to six departures from Halbeath P&R per hour. There are three departures per hour from Kirkcaldy and services up to every 20 minutes during the day, Monday to Saturday with new journeys added on Sundays from Glenrothes. 

The introduction of the DayReturn tickets to the Stagecoach Bus App and the increased services come just at the right time with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival still ongoing. Stagecoach customers can take advantage of services running until late, Monday to Saturday, from St Andrews Square to Dunfermline  ensuring you get home safely from a late-night show. 

Once the festival is over the night services will continue on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday nights only.
