Coronavirus Update Close

National lockdown restrictions are in place across England until 2 December but bus services are running as normal. You should only travel for work, education or other permitted reasons.

In South Wales, all of our timetables will go back to what we were running before the 'firebreak' lockdown. There will also be some timetable changes to a number of Aberdare services to improve connectivity.

The new tier system is in operation across Scotland, but if you need to travel, make sure you're up-to-date with what's happening in your area by checking the local government guidance.

We've put in place measures to allow you to travel safely including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can, keep your distance and take your litter with you. Stay up to date on our Coronavirus page.

Let The Adventure Being This Summer With Stagecoach Manchester

22 Jul 2016

Stagecoach Manchester has launched a new summer ticket offer just in time for the school summer break.

Price reductions will be applied to the dayrider plus one (for one adult and one child) and group dayrider (for up to two adults and three children) tickets, meaning there’s something to suit everyone when planning excursions this summer.

Taking up the summer ticket offer will see a dayrider ticket cost £5, instead of £6, and the group dayrider will be £7, instead of £9.20.  The offer is available from 24th July to 4th September, giving customers plenty of time to make the most of the reductions.

The tickets have unlimited use during the day and can be used on any Stagecoach Manchester and Magic bus service, making travelling to and from your destination even easier.

Stagecoach Manchester hopes the summer offer will help families get out and about over the summer holidays when children have time off from school.

Stagecoach Manchester managing director, Christopher Bowles, said: "The discounted ticket offer means families can truly let the adventure begin this summer through affordable travel and with so much to see and do throughout Greater Manchester why not let us do the driving this summer.

The tickets will be available to purchase on board the bus.
