In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Stagecoach Manchester has launched a new service, from Ashton to Manchester Airport, giving thousands of local commuters daily travel from as little as £1.79 a day*.
The 330 service will provide affordable, stress free and reliable transport links from Ashton to Manchester Airport up to every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday, calling at Hyde, Stockport, Manchester Airport and the World Freight Centre.
The 330 route, which is partially funded by TfGM, will also run as a direct service via the motorway from Stockport, meaning journey times from Stockport Bus Station to the World Freight Centre and airport are as little as 20 minutes.
Tickets are priced at £13.50 for the 7 day megarider and £50.00 for the 28 day megarider, while for holidaymakers, the group dayrider ticket, which is currently on offer, costs £7 for two adults and up to three children. For smaller families, the plus one dayrider, for one adult and one child, is just £5.
Elisabeth Tasker, Stagecoach Manchester managing director, said: "Manchester Airport is arguably the region's most important transport and business hub, with thousands of commuters and millions of holiday makers making their way back and forth every year and we are pleased to provide them with regular, affordable and reliable transport links to the area.
"Substantial and sustained investment by Stagecoach has meant bus travel in the region has come a long way over the last 10 years. Passengers on the 330 will be able to relax on board our new buses, which lessen the impact public transport has on the environment, while making the most of free Wi-Fi and USB charging points before they arrive for work or jet off to somewhere hopefully much warmer than Manchester!"
Wayne Poole, landside operations director for Manchester Airport, said: “It’s great to see Stagecoach launch their new service to the airport from Ashton. We always encourage passengers and employees to make use of public transport, so this new service will make it even easier for those in Tameside and Stockport to get to the airport.
"It is the perfect addition to our station that's open 24 hours a day and offers a multitude of services including bus, coach, rail and tram across our catchment area.”
*Price of £1.79 a day is based on the Stagecoach Manchester 28 day megarider price of £50.00.
