Stagecoach Manchester is asking the people of Greater Manchester to nominate their unsung hero, with the winner being gifted the prize of Christmas by the leading local bus operator.
To tie in with this year’s National Customer Service Week, which is designed to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice, Stagecoach Manchester will be giving one local hero a surprise Christmas to say an extra special ‘thank you’ to them this year.
If you know someone who has triumphed in adversity, who always goes out of their way to help others, or someone who hasn’t enjoyed their own Christmas in recent years due to work or extra commitments, then send in a nomination on their behalf and they could really win Christmas.
Once the winner has been selected, Stagecoach Manchester will work with their family and friends to make this season’s festivities extra special.
Stagecoach Manchester managing director, Chris Bowles, said: “Every day, so many people around the region do extraordinary things that largely go unnoticed. Our doctors and nurses provide world class care around the clock, carers of all ages look after people with illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, and our service men and women often go months without seeing family and friends, making unimaginable sacrifices in the process. This is our way of giving a little ‘thank you’ back.
“If you know someone who is particularly deserving of a magical Christmas, please apply on their behalf and help to make this year’s festivities extra special.”
Please send nominations to firstname.lastname@example.org
, under the subject - Win Christmas. Applications must include the name, address, email and contact details for the nominator, as well as the nominees name, their role in the community and the reason for their nomination in no more than 300 words. The deadline for entries is the 21st October.
