We all need to do whatever we can to protect each other from Coronavirus, so in line with the latest government guidance, there are measures in place to help you to travel with confidence, including limiting available seats on buses and enhanced cleaning. Unless you’re exempt, you must wear a face covering when using public transport, throughout your journey. Please avoid busy times, use contactless payment where you can and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page.
There are temporary timetables in Wales between 25 October and 9 November due to a two-week Welsh Government lockdown.

Stagecoach Manchester is supporting military personnel past and present this Remembrance Sunday (12 November 2017).
This year as part of the transport company’s activities to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military, civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts, Stagecoach Manchester will be placing a poppy on each of its 750 buses across Manchester.
On Remembrance Sunday Stagecoach Manchester will also be offering free travel to armed forces personnel carrying a military ID card and to veterans wearing the veteran’s badge.
Remembrance Sunday is a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
In addition, a contribution has been made to the Royal British Legion, enabling all drivers who choose to wear a poppy to do so.
With Remembrance services planned at memorials across Manchester it is hoped that personnel wishing to pay their respects will take up the offer to travel across Greater Manchester to the service of their choice.
Stagecoach Manchester managing director, Elisabeth Tasker said: “Once again, we are proud to be supporting Remembrance Sunday in this way by offering free travel on our services to armed forces personnel. Through our support we hope we can send a clear message to our Armed Forces communities in Manchester that we appreciate and recognise the commitment they have made to our country over the years.”
Stagecoach Group signed the Ministry of Defence’s Armed Forces Corporate Covenant in support of the Armed Forces Community in 2017. As a signatory of the Covenant, the company recognises the value serving personnel; regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to both the country and businesses across the country.
