In line with the latest government guidance, we've put in place further measures in England to help customers practice social distancing. This includes limiting the available seats on buses.
Face coverings are compulsory when using public transport in England and Scotland. In Wales you must wear a 3 layer face covering on public transport and put it on before travelling unless you are exempt. It is also now compulsory to wear face coverings when using indoor public transport hubs in England only.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority, so please avoid busy times, use contactless payment and take your litter with you. For up to date information see our Coronavirus page

Stagecoach Manchester brought a sleigh load of festive wishes to those in need this Christmas, as the latest stop for its Santa’s Grotto bus, which was Stockport Foodbank.
Stagecoach staff, including its very own Santa, were on board the festive bus to take much needed food supplies to the food bank in Hazel Grove after the Stockport depot hosted a food drive before delivering the supplies on Wednesday.
After a long campaign to generate supplies, both Stagecoach employees and generous customers donated items which were handed over to help those most in need this Christmas.
Elisabeth Tasker, Stagecoach Manchester managing director, said: “There are many people in need across Greater Manchester and it’s important we come together and lend a hand where we can. The support from both our staff and the local community has been fundamental in allowing us to provide supplies to help those who need it this Christmas.
“The Stockport Foodbank does great work all year round and I’d like to thank those at the organisation who work tirelessly to help others, as well as our staff and customers for their generosity in giving supplies.”
Members of the public can donate to the food bank by dropping items off at Stockport Foodbank from Monday to Saturday from 10.30am. Closing times vary day-to-day from 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
